ABOUT ME - My industry credentials are impeccable, but I never rest on my laurels. From the moment you contact me, it stops being about me and it becomes "About You." In your mind is a picture of the perfect wedding. Discovering the details of that picture and getting to know you happens to be my favorite part of the process.

Planning a wedding on your own can feel overwhelming, it's filled with task lists, timelines, budget constraints and unforeseen challenges. Without a wedding planner, it's a full time job that eats away your precious time. Luckily, I happen to love every minute of it, thriving under pressure and basking in the satisfaction that your wedding went off exactly as you envisioned it.

What does Jubilee like the most about being a Wedding Planner? "Definitely the love factor--in all aspects!" Jubilee discloses the pure joy of regularly being surrounded by people who are in love. "I am blessed to be in this business where I am constantly around the happiest people."

ABOUT YOU - Clients love working with Jubilee because she sincerely cares about them. She listens carefully to understand her clients' desires and utilizes her vast resources and exceptional coordination skills to help bring their visions to life.

She also understands the busy lives that couples lead today, and she focuses heavily on the convenience factor for them by making herself available via phone and email all the time, as well as evenings and weekends.

WHAT LIMITS? - At it's core, a wedding is an official, a witness and a pair of eternal lovers. Everything else is up to your imagination. I approach each wedding with an open mind, listening carefully to your ideas and advising you on the best and most creative way to make them a reality.

Whether it's a motercycle getaway, a black and white 50's Hollywood theme, or an organic wedding, the options are unlimited. There's a certain magic and grace in a traditional wedding, but where you draw your inspiration is entirely up to you.

Another aspect that she loves is helping couples to incorporate cultural and personality elements into the wedding. "The best weddings are those that include personal touches and allow an outside of the box approach. I encourage my clients to be visionaries. After all, the wedding really is about you! "

Jubilee Lau Events is a boutique event planning company that helps couples design and produce the wedding they desire. Here at JLE, we work with our clients closely throughout their engagement period to ensure that their planning process is smooth, fun, and manageable. We understand the limited time and the lack of knowledge and experience in the wedding industry that most couples face with planning a wedding, and we are here to be your most trusted advisor!

Jubilee Lau, the Founder and primary Event Coordinator of Jubilee Lau Events, established the company as a pursuit to follow her dream. Upon receiving her degree in Mass Communications at U.C. Berkeley, she began her career in the corporate world planning community events, holiday parties, and executive meetings.

She loved utilizing her remarkable organizational skills to plan and produce extraordinary events. After several years of planning corporate events, Jubilee ventured off to explore the wedding industry where she became professionally trained and certified by the Association of Bridal Consultants and June Wedding, Inc. She was elected President of June Wedding, Inc. Northern California Chapter in 2005 and through this role, enjoyed the opportunity to give back to the industry by planning magnificent networking events for event professionals. Jubilee is also a proud member and writer of By Recommendation Only, a prestigious and reputable site that recommends the best event professionals in the world. In addition, she is a preferred partner at many prestigious sites such as the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, Merchant’s Exchange Club, Palace Hotel, Villa Montalvo, Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, Thomas Fogarty Winery, and many more!

Jubilee currently lives in Santa Clara, California with her husband Alan. Together, they enjoy unearthing the most tasteful restaurants in the Bay Area, traveling to exotic places around the world, and spending quality time with families and friends.
